Clear Bag Policy

To provide a safer environment for our students, staff, families and guests, the Buford City School System (BCSS) has implemented a Clear Bag Policy.  This policy limits the size and type of bags allowed into venues, with some exceptions for medically necessary items after proper inspection.  

 

Attendees will be able to carry the following size and style of bag:
 

One Per Person

• 12” x 6” x 12” Clear Tote

• 1 Gallon Clear Storage Bag (Ziploc or similar)

• 6.5” x 4.5” Small Purse
   

Not Approved bags:

• Backpack

• Purse

• Drawstring Bag

• Diaper Bag

• Tinted Plastic Tote

• Fanny Pack

• Merchandise Bag

• Mesh Bag

• Camera Bag

• Binoculars Case
   

In addition, the following items are not allowed
into the Performing Arts Center:

• Weapons of any kind

• Illegal Drugs

• Food and Beverages (inside the theatre)

• Balloons, Confetti, Streamers

• Pets (Service Animals are allowed and must be ADA certified)

Exceptions:

Pageant Contestants, Hair/Makeup Artists, and Staff are allowed to bring in larger bags through the designated Contestant Entrance into the dressing room areas after proper inspection.  

These bags must remain in the dressing room areas and exit the building through the Contestant Entrance.  

Any bags brought in through the Contestant Entrance that DO NOT abide by the Clear Bag Policy WILL NOT be allowed in the theatre or lobby areas (example: purses, tote bags).
